More than 25 acts have been confirmed to appear at the CORE Festival – a new event for Brussels that’s taking place this weekend, 27-28 May.
The two-day festival will be held in Parc d’Osseghem, and artists that will be appearing include Action Bronson, Caribou, Celeste, Cellini, The Blaze, DJ Harvey, Jamie xx, MEUTE, Mura Masa, Nina Kraviz, Paul Kalkbrenner, Ross From Friends, Stormzy, and Sylvie Kreusch.
The aim of the CORE Festival is to stimulate all the sense – promising an immersive experience that brings together nature, music, and art.
The festival will be showcasing four different stages, offering a diverse mix of music – including indie, hiphop, electronica, hyperpop and alternative dance – matched with art, sound, and light installations.
Organisers are expecting 25,000 people to attend each day of the festival.
Parc d’Osseghem is found at the foot of the Atomium, on the outskirts of the city.
“We are proud to welcome two world jewels of music, Tomorrowland and Rock Werchter, to our capital with this new concept: a total experience around music, art and nature…” said Philippe Close, the mayor of Brussels. “This event is good news for the event, cultural and hotel sector. Here, Brussels is renewing its desire to make Brussels a city of celebrations.”
