{"id":41909,"date":"2021-10-05T16:29:07","date_gmt":"2021-10-05T15:29:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ket.brussels\/?p=41909"},"modified":"2021-10-05T17:12:44","modified_gmt":"2021-10-05T16:12:44","slug":"sounds-like-a-night-out-at-nuits-sonores","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/ket.brussels\/en\/2021\/10\/05\/sounds-like-a-night-out-at-nuits-sonores\/","title":{"rendered":"Sounds like a night out at Nuits Sonores"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">From 6-10 October, the 4th edition of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nuits-sonores.be\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Nuits Sonores<\/a> will be presented &#8211; in the fabulous setting of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bozar.be\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Bozar<\/a>, in the warmth of <a href=\"https:\/\/c12space.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">C12<\/a>, in the welcoming and unifying walls of <a href=\"https:\/\/lavallee.brussels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">LaVall\u00e9e<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For five days, the festival will offer an exploratory and innovative musical program &#8211; where a contemporary electronic artist like Max Cooper can meet post-modern composer Bruce Brubaker for a tribute to Philip Glass, where institutional music will be heckled by a new guard of subversive musicians, like the neo-classicism defended by Polish musicians Hania Rani &amp; Dobrawa Czocher, where music will flirt with dance, cinema and performance, notably with the creation Deep See Blue Surrounding You, a project by video artist and visual artist Laure Prouvost, who will invite musicians such as Flavien Berger and Lafawndah on stage. Fans of Rokia Bamba will also be happy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A\u00a0special\u00a0night by Queer Future Club\u00a0is\u00a0happening\u00a0on Sunday\u00a010 October &#8211; a\u00a0mystical\u00a0experience\u00a0including\u00a0a performance by\u00a0Judassime\u00a0and\u00a0Djs\u00a0Cherry B Diamond,\u00a0Gamine,\u00a0Azo,\u00a0Tarots by Coco\u00a0Chamel\u00a0and\u00a0Installation by Never\u00a0Sceno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The European Lab forum works closely with the Nuits sonores Brussels festival to select and interconnect European artists, activists, thinkers and journalists who firmly believe that culture and the media have the potential to transform our ailing societies; that thought is a celebration; and that art and activism are the answer to present-day challenges.
