Its archive, meticulously built over the forty years of its existence, was salvaged by Cinema Nova, allowing the veil of a bygone era devoured by the digital revolution to be lifted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The exhibition \u201cThe ABC of Porn Cinema\u201d spans four decades of activity by the theatre, and in doing so recalls the world that surrounded it. Through numerous documents, posters, hand-painted billboards, engraved press plates and censored photos retrieved from the ABC, plus an accompanying art installation, an obscure part of our culture destined to be buried in the annals of history can once again be rediscovered and reappraised. Indeed, these historical archives are exceptional and unique, unafraid to indulge in humour or to drum up reflection and controversy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped You must be over 18 year old to see the exhibition. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mimamuseum.eu\/events\/visites-guidees-the-abc-of-porn-cinema\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Guided tours<\/a> by Cin\u00e9ma Nova\u2019s team and the curators of \u201cThe ABC of Porn Cinema\u201d are organized in French during MIMA\u2019s nocturnes on Nov 4th and December 2nd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">DRAMA,&nbsp;THE ART OF LAURENT DURIEUX&nbsp;<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.laurentdurieux.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Laurent Durieux<\/a> is a famous Belgian artist. Coppola and Spielberg love his work of creating alternative posters of classic movies. Francis Ford Coppola says about Durieux: \u201cHis magnificent work elevates poster art to a high level. The stunningly executed images express the ideas and themes of the films he has chosen in new terms. They communicate a lot without words and are part of the wonderful tradition of illustrative art.\u201c The exhibition presents around a hundred original posters of the Belgian artist, internationally A documentary made by Laurent Frapat. The documentary will be screened at MIMA on October 27th. Laurent Durieux will be present during this event and will be signing books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">MUSEUM NIGHT FEVER 2021<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.museumnightfever.be\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Museum Night Fever<\/a> by Brussels Museums will be another occasion to visit MIMA\u2019s exhibition at night with musician Sarah Carlier heating up your evening with her intoxicating grooves.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sarahcarlierofficiel.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sarah Carlier<\/a> has been involved in <a href=\"https:\/\/ket.brussels\/category\/music\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">music<\/a> and writing since her early childhood, her Belgian-Congolese father being a professional guitarist (in the Kalema project) and her mother a poet and writer. On her 16th birthday, her father gave her an acoustic guitar, a familiar instrument whose cords she had seen him play. The infectious effect was immediate and Sarah, who was rather secretive, found in musical creation a way of expressing herself and opening up to others.
