From&nbsp;<strong>15 May to 28 September<\/strong>, the&nbsp;<strong>Bozar Rooftop<\/strong>&nbsp;returns on top of the&nbsp;<strong>Palais des Beaux\u2011Arts<\/strong>, with a full season of concerts, DJ sets, talks, screenings and chilled sunsets curated by&nbsp;<strong>Pali Pali<\/strong>. Think of it as a&nbsp;<strong>suspended public square<\/strong>&nbsp;above Ravenstein, where you can grab a drink, listen to local collectives and watch the city glow all the way to Koekelberg.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Last year, the rooftop already attracted around&nbsp;<strong>6,000 visitors and 150 artists and collectives over three months<\/strong>. In 2026, the team is levelling up: more days, more events, and a scenography that turns the flat roof into a hanging garden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a-100-belgian-100-rooftop-programme\">A 100% Belgian, 100% rooftop programme<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Bozar Rooftop 2026 is open&nbsp;<strong>non\u2011stop from 15 May to 28 September<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Wednesday to Sunday, 16:00\u201323:00<\/strong>. Access to the rooftop remains&nbsp;<strong>free<\/strong>, with a&nbsp;<strong>solidarity\u2011priced bar<\/strong>&nbsp;and a&nbsp;<strong>diverse food offer<\/strong>&nbsp;so you can stay for one drink or a whole night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The programme is proudly&nbsp;<strong>100% Belgian<\/strong>, bringing together collectives and artists from&nbsp;<strong>Brussels, Ghent, Antwerp, Li\u00e8ge and beyond<\/strong>. Expect a mix of:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>concerts across jazz, soul, pop, electro, rock, Latino and R&amp;B<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>DJ sets and mini\u2011festivals<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>talks, stand\u2011up, debates and thematic evenings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>workshops, family\u2011friendly afternoons and kids\u2019 events, depending on the day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It\u2019s the kind of place where you can go for a chilled after\u2011work with friends, stumble into a feminist or queer night programmed by local collectives, or land in the middle of a film screening you didn\u2019t know you needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a-forest-in-the-sky-above-ravenstein\">A \u201cForest in the Sky\u201d above Ravenstein<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This year\u2019s scenography theme is&nbsp;<strong>\u201cLa For\u00eat dans le Ciel\u201d \u2013 Forest in the Sky<\/strong>. The idea is to transform Bozar\u2019s dry, mineral rooftop into a&nbsp;<strong>suspended, living landscape<\/strong>, with greenery, structures and installations that soften the architecture and invite you to linger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The setting builds on what has been developed over the past seasons: a terrace imagined originally by&nbsp;<strong>Victor Horta<\/strong>, restored and opened as a roof terrace with panoramic views over the Royal Palace, the Grand\u2011Place and the rest of the city. The result is a place that feels halfway between urban lookout and summer festival \u2013 but accessible in just a few escalators from Gare Centrale.<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thebulletin.be\/new-roof-terrace-inaugurated-bozar-brussels\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The rooftop is also&nbsp;<strong>accessible to people with reduced mobility<\/strong>&nbsp;via a dedicated lift, with Bozar asking visitors who need assistance to announce their visit in advance.<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bozar.be\/en\/calendar\/bozar-rooftop\"><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a-queerfriendly-summer-spot-in-the-heart-of-the-ci\">A queer\u2011friendly summer spot in the heart of the city<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For Ket\u2019s readers, Bozar Rooftop sits in a sweet spot. It\u2019s not a \u201cgay bar\u201d as such, but the programming has consistently welcomed&nbsp;<strong>feminist, queer and activist collectives<\/strong>, including community radios, performance crews and DJs who bring a distinctly LGBTQIA+ energy to the terrace. Add to that the location \u2013 a few minutes\u2019 walk from the&nbsp;<strong>Rainbow Village<\/strong>&nbsp;and the&nbsp;<strong>Mont des Arts<\/strong>&nbsp;Pride Village zone \u2013 and you get an ideal place to start or end a night out.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In&nbsp;<strong>Pride season<\/strong>, the timing is even better. Opening in mid\u2011May, the rooftop is perfectly positioned to become the after\u2011march chill spot, the place where you land between a Pride talk, a drag show and a club night.
