From 11:00 to 22:00, riders of all ages can try, train and throw down their best tricks for more than \u20ac1000 worth of BMX gear. With free entry, music and food on site, it\u2019s a chance to discover urban sports up close and to support a new generation of riders claiming space in the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A takeover before the big show<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three months before Brussels welcomes Olympic medallists and the global BMX Freestyle elite, this&nbsp;<strong>TAKEOVER BMX<\/strong>&nbsp;event aims to bring the sport back to street level. Instead of waiting for a big international competition in September, Urban Sessions turns key public spaces into open, free\u2011access playgrounds for basketball, skate and BMX.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For BMX, that playground is&nbsp;<strong>Tour &amp; Taxis<\/strong>, where the skatepark becomes a day\u2011long hub for riders, friends and curious newcomers. Both are about reclaiming space, building community and inventing your own rules in environments that were not always designed for you. The calendar includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>30 May \u2014 Place du Congr\u00e8s:\u00a0<strong>3&#215;3 Basketball<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>13 June \u2014 Tour &amp; Taxis:\u00a0<strong>BMX Freestyle<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 July \u2014 Place des Ursulines:\u00a0<strong>Skateboarding<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The main festival, from&nbsp;<strong>11 to 13 September<\/strong>, offers two options: a&nbsp;<strong>free festival ticket<\/strong>&nbsp;giving access to sports, activities, music, food and drinks, or an upgraded&nbsp;<strong>BMX Freestyle ticket<\/strong>&nbsp;with the best seats to see the world\u2019s top riders defy gravity in Brussels.
