There’s something electric about the forest air just outside of Brussels at Village vaudou. The moment you step under those trees, the bass feels heavier, the smiles feel wider, and suddenly, the outside world fades away. This year’s edition (September 12–14) isn’t just another festival gathering, it’s a celebration of the dance floor as a place of freedom, sweat, and self-expression. And for the queer community, that space has always been sacred.

Here are some of the artists set to make that magic happen, each one bringing their own pulse, politics, and personality to the decks.

LSDXOXO

Unapologetically fierce, LSDXOXO’s sets are like lightning in the dark: Baltimore club, snarling techno, pop vocals that bite. A gay Black artist who’s reshaping the sound of queer nightlife, they don’t just play tracks—they start fires.

Lola Bozzano

Tender yet powerful, Lola Bozzano crafts hybrid live sets that pull you in and don’t let go. Queer, creative, and unpredictable, their performances feel like secret moments shared with a crowd of thousands.

Carista

Carista is the kind of DJ who makes a tent feel like a living room, warm, generous, full of joy. Her queer identity weaves through everything she plays: house, techno, broken beats, always with heart.

SPFDJ

Hailing from Sweden and a force of nature in Berlin’s underground, SPFDJ throws down raw, unrelenting techno that makes you move whether you’re ready or not. A proud queer artist and Herrensauna regular, she’ll be going B2B with Salomé for a set that promises pure, sweaty chaos.

Héctor Oaks

If you’ve ever lost yourself in a vinyl marathon at Herrensauna or Bassiani, you’ve probably moved to Héctor Oaks. He’s not one for labels, but his connection to queer club culture runs deep, and his sets are steeped in that history, fast, hypnotic, and heavy.

Saoirse

Few artists carry the queer dancefloor spirit as naturally as Saoirse. An Irish DJ, producer and founder of Body Movements festival, she plays with a rare intuition for mood and movement. At Voodoo Village, she’s teaming up B2B with Bambounou, and that alone is worth the ticket.
