On 6 March, Brussels queers get a new date to circle in neon on their calendars: CUT-CUT – Funding Party à l'adresse L'agenda, hosted by drag artist T’Charly/Charli. The idea is as simple as it is powerful: throw a banger of a drag night and use the energy – and the ticket money – to support their top surgery (torsoplastie).

“CUT-CUT” plays with the scissors emoji they use in their handle, but also with the reality of transition: trans and gender-diverse people are constantly asked to justify their bodies, pathologised or put on endless waiting lists. Here, the answer is collective: if the system is slow, the community speeds things up. You come for the show; you stay because each euro helps build a safer, more affirming body.

• 📍 Lieu : The Agenda, Plattesteen 18/20, 1000 Brussels – one of the city’s key queer bars and nightlife hubs, known for drag shows, themed parties and a very mixed LGBTQIA+ crowd.

The Agenda is fully dedicated to LGBTQIA+ people, non-binary folks and allies, with a programme that mixes drag, music, performance and just the right amount of chaos. It’s the ideal backdrop for a night where gender euphoria, fundraising and community joy all meet on the same stage.

What to expect

CUT-CUT is built as a drag show bringing together a line-up of talented performers invited by T’Charly/Charli. You can expect:

• lipsyncs and performance pieces ranging from campy to emotional;
• moments of tenderness and humour, as the host shares why this surgery matters;
• a crowd that knows why being there is political – and joyful.

If you’ve seen T’Charly/Charli on stage before, you know their universe: an engaged, dreamlike and burlesque drag clown, equal parts tenderness and chaos, shade and hugs. CUT-CUT continues that line: drag as storytelling, as survival and as a very concrete tool to access gender-affirming care.
