Sa pi\u00e8ce r\u00e9cente, <a href=\"https:\/\/varia.be\/programme\/thymios-fountas\/sauvez-batard-0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Sauvez B\u00e2tard<\/a>La pi\u00e8ce, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e au Studio Varia du 5 au 9 novembre, m\u00eale l'humour \u00e0 la science-fiction pour examiner la survie et l'amour. L'Acad\u00e9mie royale de langue et de litt\u00e9rature fran\u00e7aises de Belgique lui a d\u00e9cern\u00e9 le Grand Prix des arts de la sc\u00e8ne.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Parlez-nous un peu de vous. Quel a \u00e9t\u00e9 votre parcours ?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\"Je m'appelle Thymios, je fais du th\u00e9\u00e2tre et je suis dramaturge. Je suis n\u00e9 \u00e0 Copenhague d'une m\u00e8re belge et d'un p\u00e8re grec. Je suis arriv\u00e9 en Belgique \u00e0 l'\u00e2ge de 3 ans, d'abord \u00e0 Bruxelles, puis dans un petit village des Famennes, pr\u00e8s de Dinant. Comme beaucoup de personnes homosexuelles qui grandissent \u00e0 la campagne, j'ai d\u00fb faire face au manque de figures positives LGBTQ+ autour de moi. J'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 jouer du piano \u00e0 9 ans et je voulais en faire mon m\u00e9tier. \u00c0 cette \u00e9poque, la musique en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, mais aussi l'internet (\u00e9crire des fanfictions, jouer \u00e0 des jeux vid\u00e9o, discuter avec d'autres personnes queer) occupaient une grande place dans ma vie. Mais une certaine solitude li\u00e9e \u00e0 ces deux activit\u00e9s ne me satisfaisait pas compl\u00e8tement. \u00c0 l'\u00e2ge de 19 ans, j'ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de d\u00e9m\u00e9nager \u00e0 Paris et j'ai commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 suivre des cours d'art dramatique. J'ai trouv\u00e9 dans le th\u00e9\u00e2tre un espace de libert\u00e9 et de jeu. \u00c0 Paris, j'ai rencontr\u00e9 de nombreux activistes queer et trans qui m'ont aid\u00e9e \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper ma conscience politique. Je suis \u00e9galement tomb\u00e9e amoureuse. Plusieurs fois. C'\u00e9tait un beau g\u00e2chis ! De retour \u00e0 Bruxelles, j'ai \u00e9tudi\u00e9 le th\u00e9\u00e2tre dans une \u00e9cole d'art dramatique. L'\u00e9troitesse d'esprit des gens et les discriminations auxquelles j'ai \u00e9t\u00e9 confront\u00e9e ont vraiment \u00e9rod\u00e9 la confiance que j'avais en ma propre voix. Le th\u00e9\u00e2tre ne pouvait pas se contenter de perp\u00e9tuer la violence \u00e0 travers le regard masculin, les st\u00e9r\u00e9otypes de genre et l'h\u00e9g\u00e9monie ethnoculturelle, en racontant encore et encore les m\u00eames vieilles histoires. C'est ainsi que j'ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de cr\u00e9er mon propre travail\".\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Quels sont vos projets actuels ou futurs ?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\"J'ai cr\u00e9\u00e9 mon premier spectacle en avril 2023 intitul\u00e9 Sauvez B\u00e2tard. C'est une pi\u00e8ce de th\u00e9\u00e2tre de science-fiction po\u00e9tique qui se d\u00e9roule dans un monde o\u00f9 le ciel a disparu. Il y a un meurtre, un proc\u00e8s loufoque et, bien s\u00fbr, une histoire d'amour. Comme le personnage principal, appel\u00e9 B\u00e2tard (c'est un vrai emmerdeur, croyez-moi) est un po\u00e8te, toute la pi\u00e8ce est \u00e9crite d'une mani\u00e8re tr\u00e8s po\u00e9tique : rythm\u00e9e et pleine d'images hallucinantes. Pour moi, elle pose la question suivante : comment l'amour peut-il \u00eatre possible quand on est coinc\u00e9 dans son mode de survie ? En effet, les deux amants font face \u00e0 leurs conditions pr\u00e9caires avec deux strat\u00e9gies diff\u00e9rentes : l'un est motiv\u00e9 par le succ\u00e8s et cherche d\u00e9sesp\u00e9r\u00e9ment l'approbation sociale, l'autre s'accroche \u00e0 sa pratique po\u00e9tique comme s'il n'y avait pas de lendemain. Et il n'y a pas de lendemain. M\u00eame si le r\u00e9cit semble tr\u00e8s sombre, je n'aime pas le mis\u00e9rabilisme. C'est aussi tr\u00e8s dr\u00f4le ! Pour moi, l'humour est tr\u00e8s important et j'aime beaucoup \u00e9crire des blagues. J'y vois \u00e0 la fois un acte de r\u00e9sistance et de g\u00e9n\u00e9rosit\u00e9. Le texte a \u00e9t\u00e9 publi\u00e9 l'ann\u00e9e derni\u00e8re (\u00e9ditions L'arbre de Diane) et le spectacle est en tourn\u00e9e. Vous pourrez le voir au Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Varia \u00e0 Bruxelles en novembre de cette ann\u00e9e. Mon prochain projet d'\u00e9criture portera sur les pratiques sexuelles post-Internet bas\u00e9es sur la vue, les fantasmes et l'auto-hypnose. Je n'ai pas choisi d'\u00eatre queer, mais j'ai choisi de l'int\u00e9grer \u00e0 mon travail. Comme beaucoup d'autres \u00e9l\u00e9ments de mon identit\u00e9, je les laisse infuser dans mon travail et j'esp\u00e8re qu'ils peuvent toucher d'autres personnes homosexuelles et les inspirer. Je ne vois pas l'identit\u00e9 comme quelque chose de d\u00e9fini, elle est toujours en cours. Bruxelles est une ville vivante et diversifi\u00e9e. Parce qu'elle n'est pas grande, la communaut\u00e9 queer a parfois l'impression d'\u00eatre un village \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur de la ville - tout le monde conna\u00eet tout le monde. Son dynamisme, sa cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et son sens du commun, malgr\u00e9 sa taille, la rendent exceptionnelle. Il m'est parfois difficile de me sentir appartenir \u00e0 un groupe ou \u00e0 une communaut\u00e9, ce qui rend cette question difficile ! Cependant, je me sens vraiment connect\u00e9e, et j'ai rencontr\u00e9 beaucoup d'\u00eatres magnifiques ici, par le biais d'amiti\u00e9s ou de collaborations.\"\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Quelles sont vos influences homosexuelles ?<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">J'aime beaucoup les artistes qui ont une esth\u00e9tique forte et un vrai sens du drame et de l'absurde, surtout lorsqu'il s'agit de cin\u00e9ma. Je pense \u00e0 Gregg Araki, Bertrand Mandico et Ryan Trecartin &amp; Lizzie Fitch, pour n'en citer que quelques-uns. Chacune de leurs \u0153uvres joue avec les genres \u00e0 sa mani\u00e8re, d\u00e9fiant nos go\u00fbts et g\u00e9n\u00e9rant de nouveaux affects. C'est aussi ce que signifie l'homosexualit\u00e9, n'est-ce pas ? R\u00e9sister aux r\u00e9cits h\u00e9g\u00e9moniques en cr\u00e9ant de nouvelles normes. J'admire vraiment la fa\u00e7on dont ils contribuent \u00e0 l'\u00e9criture inclusive. Leur travail est tellement cool ! Il est \u00e9l\u00e9gant, ludique et toujours lisible. C'est un bon moyen de d\u00e9mystifier les \u00e9valuations des conservateurs qui disent que l'\u00e9criture inclusive est trop complexe et inesth\u00e9tique. Cela ouvre \u00e9galement des perspectives pour les \u00e9crits artistiques non binaires \/ non genr\u00e9s dans les domaines de la po\u00e9sie et de la litt\u00e9rature. J'aimerais \u00e9galement mentionner les performances drag du collectif \"Not Allowed \/ Glitters Time\" form\u00e9 pendant le covid par Drag Couenne, Dame Lylybeth, Blanket La Goulue, Rose Gigot et d'autres. Pendant cette p\u00e9riode sombre, leur travail nous a vraiment apport\u00e9 les \"paillettes\" dont nous avions besoin, d'une mani\u00e8re sensible et politique. Leur perc\u00e9e individuelle depuis lors est due \u00e0 leur incroyable talent ; elle illustre \u00e9galement l'une de mes qualit\u00e9s bruxelloises pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9es : son vif int\u00e9r\u00eat pour la sc\u00e8ne underground.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Images de Margot Briand, A.
