Eighty contemporary artists come together to challenge power structures, beauty standards, violence, and identity \u2013 with a fierce and unmistakably queer undertone.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Don\u2019t expect comfort here. Art becomes a weapon, a protest. Russian artist Pyotr Pavlensky nailed himself to Moscow\u2019s Red Square to denounce life under Putin\u2019s regime. His piece <em>Narcissus<\/em>, a haunting self-portrait, evokes themes of vanity, vulnerability, and identity \u2013 a quiet rebellion of its own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s dark humour too: in <em>Coq\/Cock<\/em>, South African queer artist Steven Cohen parades in drag near the Eiffel Tower, a rooster tied to his exposed penis.
