In fact, liminal spaces are where their practices flourish. Captured moments, snapshots, and relationships are zoomed into and out of. Both artists share an ability to create an intimate image that elicits a desire to parse its before and after. Khakshoor and Pashaei are world builders who play with allegory, narrative, composition, and context. He received his BFA in Sculpture from Lyme Academy College of Fine Arts in 2015 and completed his MFA in printmaking at The Ohio State University in 2018.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Khakshoor has exhibited his work widely in the U.S. and internationally since 2011. most recent solo exhibitions include: &#8216;The Itch&#8217; at Solito Gallery, Naples, Italy (2024); &#8216;Rapscallions&#8217; at Lundgren Gallery, Palma De Mallorca, Spain (2024); &#8216;Studio Visit&#8217; at Emma Gray HQ, Santa Monica, CA (2024); &#8216;Pin-Drop&#8217; at Duane Thomas Gallery in NYC (2023); &#8216;The Quiet Path To Otherwhere&#8217; at Taymour Grahne Projects, London, UK (2023); and Dirty Words &amp; A Melody at Wilder Gallery, London, UK (2022). Group exhibitions include: Dad Bods at The Hole, NYC (2024); Painters \u2013 London: A Group Show, Half Gallery Annex, NYC (2023); Pour Some Sugar on Me at Lundgren Gallery in Palma Mallorca, Spain (2022); It Was The Best of Times, It Was the Worst of Times at Duane Thomas Gallery in NYC (2022), and Humoral Theory (3-Person exhibition) at BEERS London, U.K. (2020).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Khakshoor is the recipient of many awards, including the Inaugural Emerging Artist Award at the Editions\/Artists&#8217; Book Fair (E\/AB) in 2018. His works are in private and public collections, most notably at The Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice in NYC, X Museum in Beijing China, and The Bunker Collection in Palm Beach Florida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"592\" height=\"532\" src=\"https:\/\/ket.brussels\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Capture-decran-2025-06-03-121600.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-49940\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ket.brussels\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Capture-decran-2025-06-03-121600.jpg 592w, https:\/\/ket.brussels\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Capture-decran-2025-06-03-121600-300x270.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ket.brussels\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Capture-decran-2025-06-03-121600-13x12.jpg 13w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 592px) 100vw, 592px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sofia Pashaei<\/strong>&nbsp;(b. 1989, Sweden) currently resides and works in Brussels. Drawing from personal experiences and broader cultural narratives, Pashaei\u2019s work illuminates the tensions and contradictions inherent in navigating multiple identities. She is an artist and independent animation director. Her debut solo exhibition, Meaning in the off Hours, was showcased at Ballon Rouge in 2022. She followed this with her second solo exhibition, An Orphan in the Territory of Giants, at the gallery in 2024. In 2023, Pashaei received the Kells Collection Award at the SWAB art fair in Barcelona for her solo presentation with Rafael Perez Hernando Gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pashaei&#8217;s work has been showcased in numerous group exhibitions at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.museumpassmusees.be\/fr\/offre\/musee\/a0e25013-f5d5-487c-b036-66f23a9b69c4\/fondation-boghossian-villa-empain?msclkid=9b83aee57fb012af25f7c6dbb3265e88&amp;utm_audience=&amp;utm_campaign=SEA_FR_Musea_BXL_NEW_Awareness&amp;utm_content=Villa-empain&amp;utm_id=16541008514&amp;utm_medium=cpc&amp;utm_source=bing&amp;utm_term=fondation%20boghossian\">Fondation Boghossian in Brussels<\/a>, The Hole and Hashimoto Contemporary in New York, and Delphian Gallery in collaboration with Unit1 in London. As an animation director, Pashaei has collaborated with prominent clients such as The New York Times, Google, TED, and MTV. Her animated short films have been screened at renowned animation and film festivals around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image
