On the occasion of Trans Day of Visibility 2025, KET celebrates trans lives, resilience, and the power of community.
March 31st is more than a day of recognition — it’s a reminder that trans people have always been here, shaping culture, fighting injustice, and creating joy in the face of adversity.
Visibility matters, but it’s not enough. Without rights, safety, and dignity, being seen can feel like exposure. That’s why trans activists around the world remind us: real visibility is intersectional, rooted in justice, and driven by community.

We honour icons like Marsha P. Johnson, Sylvia Rivera, Coccinelle, and Lili Elbe — pioneers who paved the way. And we uplift today’s changemakers: Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Hunter Schafer, Elliot Page, and countless others who use their platforms to push for trans liberation.

But beyond the headlines, trans lives are being lived with courage every day — in Brussels and beyond. In schools, bars, hospitals, and homes. These lives deserve more than applause. They deserve action, policy change, healthcare, safety, and love.

Elliot Page
At KET, we stand with our trans siblings. Today and every day, we amplify their voices and fight for a world where they are not just visible — but celebrated, supported, and free.
