Sonja No\u00ebl, driven by intuition and a background in art history rather than fashion, saw an opportunity to do things differently. No\u00ebl was among the first to support the now-legendary Antwerp Six\u2014Martin Margiela, <a href=\"https:\/\/anndemeulemeester.com\/en-be\">Ann Demeulemeester<\/a>, Dries Van Noten, Marina Yee, Dirk Van Saene, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.waltervanbeirendonck.com\/\">Walter Van Beirendonck<\/a>\u2014alongside later icons like Raf Simons, Rick Owens, A.F. Vandevorst, and more. Her instinctive eye for originality and authenticity turned her boutique into a temple of style, where high fashion met everyday life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sonja No\u00ebl has always been on the lookout for singularity, character and originality, three factors that are becoming increasingly rare in fashion today.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>An Exhibition of Icons<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To celebrate over 40 years of STIJL,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.fashionandlacemuseum.brussels\/fr\/\"> the Fashion &amp; Lace Museum in Brussels<\/a> is hosting a major retrospective. Curated by Sonja\u2019s daughter, Aya No\u00ebl, the exhibition is organized thematically rather than chronologically, highlighting the boutique\u2019s core values: originality, authenticity, and timelessness.
