For nearly three decades,\u00a0Kenne Perry\u00a0has been a defining presence in Belgian and European nightlife, constantly reinventing himself while staying rooted in one core identity: a DJ who tells stories through sound.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI never thought I\u2019d become a DJ,\u201d Perry admits, looking back on his debut in the late \u201990s. \u201cIt just happened overnight.\u201d Music had been an obsession since childhood, but the idea of performing came by chance \u2014 and then changed everything. In the mid-\u201990s club scene, when nightlife was an underground network of bars and dance basements, Perry stepped in with a style that was both instinctive and innovative. By the early 2000s, he had become a resident DJ at a growing gay party in Brussels, which rapidly turned into a powerhouse of the LGBTQ+ nightlife scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2007, he joined the legendary&nbsp;<strong>La Demence<\/strong>&nbsp;team, a move that consolidated his reputation as one of the biggest names in European gay nightlife. But in true Kenne Perry fashion, he did it on his own terms. Instead of taking the spotlight on the main floor, he chose the small, overlooked bar on the top floor \u2014 a passage space few believed in. \u201cIt was more challenging,\u201d he recalls. Perry decided to rebrand, giving birth to&nbsp;<strong>LogiK Monkey<\/strong>, a name that would allow him to explore new sounds beyond the club mainstream. Weeks after launching this alias, he landed residencies at&nbsp;<strong>Green Komm<\/strong>&nbsp;in Germany and continued headlining La Demence \u2014 a dual success that solidified his international standing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then came&nbsp;<strong>D*FOG<\/strong>&nbsp;in 2019, a side project dedicated to house and disco \u2014 two genres that reflect Perry\u2019s deeper musical roots. When the pandemic paused nightlife, he took the downtime to rethink and refine his multiple identities. That\u2019s when&nbsp;<strong>DJ KennIth<\/strong>, his very first stage name, resurfaced \u2014 this time for limited, nostalgic events celebrating 80s and 90s&nbsp;<em>Hi-NRG<\/em>&nbsp;en&nbsp;<em>Italo Disco<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And the experiments didn\u2019t stop there. In 2021, he launched&nbsp;<strong>The Urban Funk Affair<\/strong>, revisiting R&amp;B through a fresh, dancefloor-driven lens. \u201cEvery name tells a story,\u201d he says. \u201cThey\u2019re all parts of me, evolving with time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Looking Forward<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, Kenne Perry stands as more than a DJ \u2014 he\u2019s an architect of atmospheres, a storyteller moving through decades of sound.
