{"id":40897,"date":"2021-03-26T06:27:31","date_gmt":"2021-03-26T05:27:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ket.brussels\/event\/bxl-universel-ii-multipli-city\/"},"modified":"2021-03-26T06:27:31","modified_gmt":"2021-03-26T05:27:31","slug":"bxl-universel-ii-multipli-city","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/ket.brussels\/nl\/evenement\/bxl-universel-ii-multipli-city\/","title":{"rendered":"BXL UNIVERSEL II : Multipli.city"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CENTRALE presenteert BXL UNIVERSEL II: multipli.city, een multidisciplinair tentoonstellings- en evenementenproject in samenwerking met 11 kunstenaars en 5 Brusselse organisaties.<\/p>\n<p>In 2021, ter gelegenheid van haar 15de verjaardag, viert de CENTRALE haar stad, haar kunstenaars en haar inwoners met het project BXL UNIVERSEL II : multipli.city.<\/p>\n<p>Dit project is meer dan een tentoonstelling, het is een forum-tentoonstelling die de vorm aanneemt van een lappendeken van bijzonderheden en paden, via de voorstellen van kunstenaars die ervoor gekozen hebben om in Brussel te wonen en te werken - en de samenwerking met non-profitorganisaties in de stad. Het kunstcentrum bevraagt zowel de gelaagdheid van kosmopolitisch Brussel, als het samenleven dat ermee verweven is. Het kunstcentrum breidt zich uit naar de openbare ruimte en partnerlocaties, en stelt zijn ruimte open voor iedereen voor uitwisseling en delen rond artistieke en participatieve processen.<\/p>\n<p>In 2016 presenteerde CENTRALE BXL UNIVERSEL I, een subjectief portret ter gelegenheid van haar 10-jarig bestaan. Terwijl het eerste deel van de tentoonstelling van start ging enkele weken na de terroristische aanslagen van maart 2016, staat dit tweede deel van de trilogie in het teken van de pandemie, de lockdowns en de impact van de sanitaire crisis op het (culturele) leven.
