This September, the Fiesta Latina Summer Festival returns to Brussels, bringing with it a vibrant celebration of Latin American culture from September 6 to 8 at the Bois de la Cambre. A lively event filled with music, dance, and delicious food, it promises to immerse festival-goers in the colorful traditions of Latin America.
As one of Belgium’s largest Latin festivals, Fiesta Latina offers a diverse and inclusive environment, making it a welcoming space for all attendees. The festival is known for its eclectic music, energetic performances, and warm, festive atmosphere that encourages self-expression and unity.
A Musical Journey Across Latin America
The festival will feature performances on three different stages, showcasing a wide variety of Latin American rhythms and genres. Attendees can look forward to live acts from artists such as Ricky Manuel from Grupo Extra, known for his soulful bachata performances, and the dynamic Mariachi El Sol, led by Candido Capilla, which brings the festive spirit of Mexico to Brussels. For fans of high-energy beats, Rio Sensation will get the crowd moving with an electrifying mix of Baile Funk and Reggaeton on the Main Stage.
Dance is at the heart of this event, with performances ranging from traditional Bolivian dances, brought to life by Sartañani, to the energetic moves of Rossi & Son Ladies, who will deliver salsa and bachata routines inspired by the world’s top choreographers.
Food, Drinks, and Cultural Immersion
A significant part of the Fiesta Latina experience is its culinary offerings. The festival will host over 90 food trucks, offering an extensive range of Latin American dishes, from savory street foods like tacos and empanadas to exotic sweets. In addition to the food, the festival will offer workshops where attendees can learn to dance salsa, samba, or even zumba from professional instructors.
For those looking to unwind, the festival’s bars—featuring refreshing Fuze Tea drinks and rum cocktails by Alcobrands—provide the perfect opportunity to take a break and soak in the vibrant atmosphere.
A Festive Weekend for Everyone
Fiesta Latina is more than just a music festival; it’s a cultural experience that embraces the diversity and spirit of Brussels. With workshops, food stalls, and live performances, the event offers something for everyone, whether you’re a music lover, foodie, or dance enthusiast.
This year, the festival continues to uphold its commitment to being a safe and inclusive space for the LGBTQIA+ community, welcoming everyone to celebrate freely and authentically. With its atmosphere of acceptance and unity, Fiesta Latina ensures that all attendees can feel comfortable expressing themselves while enjoying the festivities.
Tickets for the event are available online, with prices starting at €13.50 for Sunday and €16.50 for Friday and Saturday. Special offers are available for three-day passes, and children under 12 can attend for free, making it a family-friendly event.
