The vibrant heart of Brussels’ Anderlecht district will once again celebrate diversity, inclusion, and the LGBTQIA+ community with the return of PROUD! on June 14, 2025. This eagerly awaited event, now in its third edition, promises a full day of activities, performances, and discussions, all centered around the theme of care and creating safe, inclusive spaces for everyone.
A Day for Community, Care, and Celebration
Organized by 1070 Anderlecht, Rainbow Corporate & Pride, and Escale du Nord – Anderlecht’s cultural center, PROUD! is open to all, welcoming both locals and visitors to join in the festivities at Kapelaansstraat 1. The event runs for eight hours, offering something for all ages and backgrounds.
This year’s edition places a special focus on care—highlighting the importance of support, well-being, and safe environments for LGBTQIA+ individuals. The organizers aim to foster a sense of belonging and solidarity, making Anderlecht a beacon of inclusion.

Information Stands with the Safe Ta Night network, offering resources and advice on safety and LGBTQIA+ rights. - 2:15 PM – 3:15 PM:
Family Show: “Prins zoekt lief” (NL, ages 3+)
A delightful storytelling performance by the Ratara collective. Registration recommended. - 2:15 PM – 5:00 PM:
Writing Workshop (FR): “Caring for Our Deviances”
Led by Pio Ferrarato, this creative session explores self-expression and acceptance. Registration required. - 2:15 PM – 5:15 PM:
Collective Art Creation
