From June 16th to 22nd, Exaequo—Brussels’ health partner for gay and bisexual men—is hosting a Testing Week filled with opportunities for quick, free, and anonymous screenings. The association’s volunteers are making it easier than ever to get tested for HIV, syphilis, and/or hepatitis C in a welcoming environment.
What Is a Rapid Test?
A rapid test at Exaequo is your go-to for checking your status regarding HIV, syphilis, and/or hepatitis C, especially if your last sexual encounter was more than three months ago. If your most recent encounter was within the last three months, these tests can still offer some insight, but a negative result should be confirmed at least three months after any potential risk exposure.
A Positive First Experience
Getting tested with Exaequo is not just about results—it’s a chance to meet friendly faces in a supportive, community-based setting. The experience is designed to be reassuring and pleasant, with open, judgment-free conversations about your sexual health and practices.
Valuable Advice
Testing is also an opportunity to chat about protection methods, update your status, and get the latest information—whether it’s about PrEP, psychoactive substances, or new developments in screening. Exaequo’s team is here to answer all your questions and help you make informed decisions.
