De Brussels Open Air Festival returns for its second edition on Saturday, August 30, 2025, promising an energetic all-day celebration of Brussels’ diverse and thriving music scene. After attracting nearly 11,000 attendees in 2024, this festival has quickly established itself as a key end-of-summer event, highlighting the city’s unique club culture now officially recognized as part of Brussels’ intangible heritage.

A Multi-Location Festival Across Iconic City Squares

Spanning from 2 PM to 10 PM, the festival unfolds across five iconic locations throughout central Brussels, each hosting carefully curated musical programs by prominent local collectives, clubs, and labels. Festivalgoers are invited to experience a broad spectrum of electronic, urban, and world music genres, all under the open sky:

• Place Jean Rey: Featuring Vortex x Vollenbak x 155 BPM with trance and hardgroove sounds, this energetic electronic stage showcases a lineup including MATR4KK, Alycia Bezgo, and more.
• Place Poelaert: TRENDY takes the stage with hip hop, afrobeats, shatta, dancehall, and amapiano rhythms celebrating urban music culture.
• Congrès (Administrative City): C12 x RESET present a house and techno platform, highlighted by artists like Steffi & The Lady Machine and Answer Code Request, delivering a deep and immersive techno experience.
• Place de Brouckère: Hosting Invasion Latina’s colorful open air party, this site celebrates Latin music styles such as reggaeton, salsa, and cumbia, bringing a warm and festive vibe.
• Vaux Hall: Corne de Gazelle x Adira lead a diverse program mixing pop, disco, and live performances with a special focus on queer and SWANA cultural influences.

Access and Tickets

Festivalgoers eager to explore multiple locations can purchase limited combi-tickets, granting free movement between venues throughout the day. Individual event tickets are also available, with prices generally ranging between €7 and €18. Early bird combi-tickets have sold out quickly, reflecting the festival’s rising popularity.
