Tenzij u op een andere planeet woont, hebt u ongetwijfeld gehoord over de controverse rond de regenboog die het voetbalstadion van München, het toneel waar Duitsland en Hongarije tijdens Euro 2020 tegenover elkaar staan, zou versieren.
Deze actie, gesteund door de burgemeester van München, staat symbool voor de veroordeling van de anti-LGBT-wet die door het Hongaarse parlement is gestemd. Dankzij het voetbalevenement haalt dit schandalige besluit overal de krantenkoppen. Het voetbal kan zich nu gaan profileren als een inclusieve sport. Wij zijn trots op de verklaring van het Belgische voetbalteam, de Rode Duivels, en de woorden van een van de Belgische sterren, Thomas Meunier.
