Brussels is about to get trashy, queer, and utterly captivating as the Queer Mais Trash Festival returns for its 7th edition. From January 31 to February 2, Espace Magh will transform into a vibrant hub for queer cinema, combining raw creativity, political defiance, and unapologetic self-expression
.
Highlights include “Les Reines du Drame,” a provocative queer feature film by Alexis Langlois, kicking off the festival with a bang. Lip Sync Battles, feminist film screenings, and bold explorations of LGBTQIA+ themes ensure there’s never a dull moment.

Les Reines du Drame
More than just films, Queer Mais Trash celebrates community and rebellion against norms. Events like the Bingo Mais Trash hosted by Edna Sorgelsen and live performances by Hyperartistes underscore the festival’s playful yet impactful nature.

The festival’s ethos? Breaking binaries, amplifying silenced voices, and celebrating the messy, beautiful spectrum of queer life. Whether you’re here for the art, the activism, or the party, Queer Mais Trash promises to surprise, provoke, and entertain
