Judassime by Flavien Sgl
Judassime doesn’t need labels. Or boxes. Or even a community. They’d rather talk about power, kindness, evolution. A non-binary, queer, multidisciplinary artist, Judassime is a raw and fluid embodiment of a generation that doesn’t just bend the rules — it redefines them.

After dropping their first Club Couture collection in 2021, Judassime continues to use fashion as a language — a means to speak, to resist, to empower. Their gender-fluid label is about “living with confidence and fearlessly,” and now they’re preparing for their first-ever physical show. “I just dropped my first bag collection,” they tell us, “and now I’m working on something between semi-couture and ready-to-wear. I’m very excited about this one."

The journey hasn’t been easy. “My personal life has been my biggest challenge,” Judassime admits, “but also my biggest power and inspiration. As an independent designer and performer from the underground scene, it’s hard to sustain yourself — but I’d never give up on what I believe is right."

Though based in Brussels, Judassime doesn’t feel tied to any one group. “I actually don’t really see myself being part of any community. I’m part of none and all — communities that represent power, ambition, evolution, kindness, and creativity. I really see myself as a malleable entity that lives through time.”

As for influences, they don’t hesitate: “Alexander McQueen, John Galliano, Thierry Mugler. Their vision, their craftsmanship, their unapologetic nature — it woke something up in me as a child."

Still, community does sneak in — through safe, joyful spaces like Lovegroove, a party they love in Brussels. “Always a good lineup, always a good vibe. That’s my favorite kind of night out."

In their own words: “I am a queer person and my mindset is of course very queer by definition — but I also see myself very alone in this world at the end of the day.” Yet, in that fierce solitude, Judassime shines — and lights the way for others.
