Arc-en-Ciel International Rainbow (AIR) is an online platform created for and with LGBTQIA+ migrants, refugees and the professionals who support them, with a strong focus on Belgium and links to resources worldwide. It offers practical information, support networks and country-by-country facts to help queer and trans people on the move find safety, community and reliable guidance.
What Arc-en-Ciel International Is
Arc-en-Ciel International Rainbow is an international information-sharing platform dedicated to LGBTQIA+ migration, with content available in English and French. The site is designed for “freedom-seekers”, homeless people, asylum-seekers, refugees and professionals working with them, making it a key tool for anyone navigating borders, procedures and new environments as an LGBTQIA+ person.
On the homepage, visitors are invited to choose their profile (“I am a freedom-seeker / homeless person / asylum-seeker / refugee / professional”) and are then guided towards tailored information and resources. The platform is supported by Fédération Prisme, a Walloon LGBTQIA+ federation that coordinates projects on migration and queer rights across Belgium.
