A Safe Space for Recovery: A New Chemsex Self-Support Group in Liège

Centre S and the Maison Arc-en-Ciel de Liège have launched a new monthly self-support group — a caring, confidential space for those who wish to take a step back from Chemsex, reflect on their consumption, or begin a journey toward change.

In Liège, a new community resource is taking shape to support people navigating Chemsex-related challenges. The initiative, jointly led by Centre S and the Maison Arc-en-Ciel de Liège, offers a monthly self-support group in a safe and non-judgmental environment.

Open to anyone wishing to stop, take a break, or rethink their relationship with Chemsex, the group encourages honest conversations, peer understanding, and mutual encouragement. Participants can share experiences, explore coping tools, and find community support without stigma.

The sessions take place one Wednesday per month, from 7 PM to 9 PM, at the Maison Arc-en-Ciel de Liège, rue Hors-Château 7. Attendance is confidential, and no registration is required — just a willingness to talk, listen, or simply be present.
