Brussels is set to become the home of the Pride Museum, an ambitious cultural initiative dedicated to queer resistance, resilience, and expression. While the museum is still in search of a venue, its vision is already sparking excitement—a space where art and activism converge to celebrate the complexity of queer lives.

The Pride Museum aims to amplify silenced voices, reclaim erased histories, and challenge societal norms through a distinctly queer lens. “Queer art is inherently political, and so will be the Pride Museum,” says Tutasay, the project’s curator. At a time when anti-gender movements and authoritarianism are on the rise, the museum aspires to be a bold, collective response to these global threats.
Far more than a traditional museum, it will serve as a living monument, blending historical narratives with contemporary queer art. The programming—ranging from exhibitions to performances—promises to ignite thought-provoking conversations and inspire new perspectives.
Driven by a diverse team of queer individuals with shared experiences of resistance and pride, the Pride Museum is a project fueled by resilience. As it searches for a venue in Brussels, this initiative is already shaping up to be a transformative cultural milestone.
