Finissage of “There Is a Crack in Everything” at the Jewish Museum of Belgium

On December 14, de Joods Museum van België invites visitors to the finissage of the exhibition “There Is A Crack in Everything." From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., guests can experience the show one last time through curator-led tours, artist encounters, and live performances. This closing event marks not only the end of a major exhibition but also a symbolic farewell to the museum’s current building before its upcoming transformation.

Bringing together twenty-eight international artistsThere Is a Crack in Everything explores themes of belonging, identity, memory, and transformation. The show was conceived as an open dialogue between artists, unfolding in the museum’s now semi-empty spaces — areas charged with anticipation, transition, and renewal. As the structure awaits its complete renovation, the exhibition becomes a reflection on the act of inhabiting, remembering, and connecting.

As it began, so it will end — with Prinz Gholam, whose piece You Never See Yourself reintroduces the duo’s signature approach, blending improvisation, bodily memory, and ephemeral gestures.
