On 7 and 8 March 2026, Tour & Taxis turns into a temple of rum, tastings and good vibes — a perfect weekend escape for Brussels’ LGBTQ+ crowd and allies.
The Brussels Rhum Festival is back for its 4th edition and is ready to transform the city into the rum capital of Europe for one weekend. Set in the iconic industrial-chic setting of Salle de la Poste at Tour & Taxis, the festival offers an immersive journey through an exceptional selection of rums from all over the world. Whether you are the kind of queer who loves a neat aged rum, a tropical cocktail, or just discovering the basics, you’ll find something to taste, learn and enjoy in a relaxed, premium atmosphere.
Across two days, you can meet passionate producers, chat with experts, and deepen your knowledge thanks to dedicated masterclasses. It’s the ideal plan for a date, a queer friends’ outing, or a chilled afternoon between Pride events: slow tastings, good music, and plenty of chances to discover new favourite bottles.

Why it’s a great pick for queer Brussels
The Brussels Rhum Festival offers something our community often looks for in events: a mix of discovery, conviviality and freedom to be yourself. The spacious setting at Tour & Taxis makes it easy to move around, chat, taste and take breaks when needed. Coming with friends or a partner, you can create your own queer rum route, try different flavours together and compare notes like true tasting nerds.
Because the event runs across the afternoon and early evening, it’s also easy to combine with other LGBTQ+ nightlife plans in Brussels — think: tastings at Tour & Taxis, then dinner and a queer bar or party later. And with pets allowed and wheelchair access guaranteed, it’s an inclusive option for many members of the community.
