On 28 March 2026, Brussels gets a new all‑night love letter to Mylène Farmer: “Au Bout de la Nuit”, a 100% Mylène party created by and for fans at BB BAR, in the heart of the queer district. Beyond the bangers, it is also a solidarity event, with all profits going to Le Refuge LGBTQIA+, supporting vulnerable queer youth.
“Au Bout de la Nuit” is not your average pop night with a couple of Mylène tracks squeezed between chart hits; it is a fully dedicated experience built around her universe, her aesthetics, and the communities that have grown up with her. The concept is simple and bold: a DJ set 100% focused on Mylène Farmer, crafted by fans for fans, with a selection that goes way beyond the usual greatest hits. Expect iconic singles, deep cuts, live versions, remixes and fan‑made edits that speak directly to people who know every breath, whisper and synth line by heart.
For the 2026 edition, the theme is “Libertine”, timed just after the 40th anniversary of the single’s release on 25 March 1986. On 28 March, BB BAR will lean fully into that universe, with musical and visual nods to powdered libertines, blood‑red hair and the decadent, transgressive energy that made Mylène a lifelong queer icon. It is an invitation to show up as you are – or as the Mylène you have always wanted to be – whether that means corsets, lace gloves, sharp suits or simply turning up with your chosen family.
The choice of venue is no coincidence: BB BAR, on rue du Marché au Charbon, has quickly positioned itself as a key player in Brussels’ inclusive nightlife. Located right in the city centre, it has become a natural home for queer nights, drag shows and alternative cultural events, making it the perfect setting for a hyper‑targeted fan party with a strong community angle. The organisers describe a deliberately mixed crowd: hardcore Mylène fans from 18 to 77, queer and queer‑friendly clubbers who want something more curated than a standard pop playlist, and culture lovers who enjoy nightlife with a political conscience.
That political conscience is at the heart of “Au Bout de la Nuit”: 100% of the profits go to Le Refuge LGBTQIA+, an association that supports and houses LGBTQIA+ youth facing rejection, homelessness or extreme precarity. Buying a ticket, a drink or a raffle entry is not just a way to secure your spot on the dancefloor; it is a direct contribution to concrete support for young queer people navigating family breakdown, institutional violence and social exclusion. This solidarity focus also echoes Mylène Farmer’s long‑standing, often discreet engagement with LGBTQIA+ causes and other humanitarian issues, making the night feel like a natural extension of her world rather than a simple tribute.
For fans, there is an extra incentive: a charity raffle with prizes tailored to serious collectors, including the 2026 splatter maxi vinyl reissue of “Maman a tort” and the 2026 red maxi CD reissue of the same single. It is a way of turning fan obsession into mutual care, reconnecting that intimate relationship with an artist’s work to the wider reality of queer lives in Belgium today. In a context where LGBTQIA+ rights remain under pressure across Europe, the party offers what nightlife does best when it works: a safer space to sing, scream, flirt and cry together – while helping keep others safe outside the club too.
