Res Nullius, the first documentary by La Minute Sauvage, heads to cinemas in Brussels

La Minute Sauvage is bringing its very first documentary, Res Nullius, to the big screen, with an open-to-all preview on Tuesday, May 5 at 7:00 PM at Cinéma Aventure in central Brussels. The screening will be a chance to discover the film in a theater setting and meet the team behind it.

The documentary will officially arrive in Brussels the following day, Wednesday, May 6, also at Cinéma Aventure, which is known for programming documentaries, discoveries and films that invite discussion. The preview will be followed by a Q&A, adding a more personal and exchange-driven dimension to the event.

A film rooted in Brussels

Res Nullius explores the coexistence between humans and wildlife in Brussels and questions how the city shares space with the natural world around it. The subject fits perfectly with a Brussels audience interested in ecology, urban life and the concrete ways cities adapt to biodiversity and environmental change.

The film’s release is also a collective achievement. It was made possible thanks to the support of 327 citizens who contributed through crowdfunding, along with partners including the Centre Vidéo de Bruxelles, the Commission Ornithologique de Watermael-BoitsfortPOWER4treesLa Hulpe Environnement, the Fondation QI GreenTriodos Foundation, and the support of Triodos Bank savers.

An invitation to meet and exchange

The announcement frames the premiere as more than just a screening: it is also meant to be a moment of gathering, exchange and shared reflection. For a Brussels audience attentive to environmental questions and independent creation, the event offers a chance to support a local documentary project and discuss its themes directly with the people behind it.
