Laugh, Love, and Friendship: Atout Comedy Club Brings Queer Joy to Brussels

Forget Valentine’s Day clichés—this year, Brussels’ queer comedy scene is celebrating friendship instead of romance. On Friday, February 13, 2026, the Atout Comedy Club is taking over the Centre Culturel Bruegel for a night of laughter, love, and community.

Born in 2021, Atout Comedy Club is more than a series of stand-up nights—it’s a movement to make the Belgian comedy scene safer, queerer, and more inclusive. By creating welcoming spaces for women and queer performers, the collective is proving that diversity in comedy isn’t a token gesture—it’s the future.

The goal? To show that the people who make us laugh—women, queer, and gender-diverse comedians—deserve more than being “the charm” or “the diversity card” of a show.

A Valentine’s Alternative: Celebrate Friendship!

This pre-Valentine’s event puts friendship in the spotlight: the Good, the True, the Durable, or the Fleeting. Whether you come with your ride-or-die pal, your group of chaotic besties, or a new friend you met five minutes ago, you’ll be part of a joyful, queer-friendly crowd ready to laugh till it hurts.

The night will be hosted by Hortense de Ghellinck, featuring performances by Natacha PrudentCelia Bouy (La Mounette Comédie), ZoraIlyas Macalusodrag artist Tigger Warming, and La Maraudeuse.

Expect sharp punchlines, emotional honesty, and a solid dose of queer warmth—plus the occasional glittery surprise.
