UMI x BLUR: House Grooves Above the City at Poelaert Open Air

This Saturday, UMI x BLUR turn Place Poelaert into a sun‑drenched open air right above the Brussels skyline. From afternoon light to golden‑hour shadows and into the night, the square in front of the Palais de Justice becomes a temporary dancefloor for house heads, queer dancers and allies who love their beats with a view.

Dancing over the city

Poelaert is one of Brussels’ most iconic viewpoints: trams sliding past, the elevator to the Marolles, the terraces, and that wide open horizon over the city. For this edition, UMI and BLUR take over the square from 14:00 to 22:00, with a last entry at 19:00 to keep the flow contained and the atmosphere stable throughout the day.

The idea is simple: a sun‑drenched open air where house grooves build slowly, people can move between dancing and hanging out, and a memorable sunset hits directly in front of the Palais de Justice. After sunset, the party doesn’t stop; it just moves down into the club, five minutes away on foot, where the afterparty runs from 22:30 to 06:00. Combo tickets, last‑wave tickets and group options make it easier to bring your whole crew along.

The lineup: skyline selectors

On the music side, UMI x BLUR bring a mix of international and local names that fit the space:

• Dyed Soundorom — one of the most respected minds in the French house scene and a member of Apollonia, the trio that’s become iconic in contemporary club culture. He fell hard for BLUR’s energy during their previous WeekEnd, and his ability to weave deep, sultry rhythms and irresistible grooves under the open sky makes him a natural fit for Poelaert.
• Harold MP1 & Ava Eva — two beloved residents, holding down the skyline duties with steady, detail‑rich selections that translate just as well in daylight as they do later in a darkened club.
• Ina Kaysen — an emerging Brussels gem opening the festivities, setting the tone for the day with a first wave of sound for early arrivals.

For queer and allied dancers, this kind of lineup matters: it mixes serious craft with an accessible, warm mood, making space for both heads who follow these DJs closely and people who just want to feel held by the music without needing to know every track ID.

Beyond the music, UMI x BLUR put effort into practical care:

• Getting there: Place Poelaert is reachable by metro (lines 2 & 6, stop Louise), tram (8, 92, 93, 97, stops Poelaert or Louise), bus (33 for Poelaert, 54 & 64 for Louise), plus dedicated bike racks on site so you can lock your ride safely.
• In = in, out = out: once you exit the open air site, re‑entry isn’t possible, which helps keep the crowd stable; it also means you need to bring what you need for the full span of the day — sunglasses, sunscreen, a light jacket for after sunset.
• Care Team: a clearly identifiable Care Team will be present throughout the day. If you need a quiet moment, water, a quick check‑in or more sustained support, they’re there, judgment‑free and easy to approach.
