A professional dancer and member of the ballroom scene, Habibitch effectively blends the codes of that culture with historical and political references from her background as a sociology researcher, making Décoloniser le dancefloor [Decolonising the Dancefloor] a performance that reflects its performer: impactful, humorous and socially conscious.  After last season’s sold-out run at the Hahalles festival, don’t miss this second edition, which promises to energise both the dancefloor and people’s minds! On 12 September 2026, the Brussels Open Air Festival transforms five of Brussels’ most iconic squares into open-air dancefloors. For its third edition, ten local collectives take over public spaces with programmes ranging from hip-hop and R&B to techno, dub and afrobeats. Poetik Bazar, Brussels’ poetry market and festival, will be returning to Les Halles de Schaerbeek for its sixth edition from 18-20 September 2026. At this unique multilingual market, you’ll find over a hundred poetry publishers from Belgium (both French-speaking and Dutch-speaking), France, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Quebec, among others... It’s an opportunity to discover poetry goodies of every kind: from books to magazines, and from self-publications to illustrated works. Poetik Bazar is also a festival of performances, meet-and-greets, readings, creative workshops for all ages, outdoor activities, signings, concerts to share multifaceted experiences, in the flesh and collectively, stretching and connecting, in every language.
