Every Monday evening, La Tricoterie, a cultural hotspot in the Saint-Gilles district of Brussels, welcomes all voices and talents to the stage for its weekly Open Mic event. Whether you are a musician, singer, poet, or simply a fan of musical discoveries, these evenings are the perfect opportunity to share your creations in a friendly, inclusive, and warm environment.
The concept?
From 8 p.m., the Open Mic opens the stage to anyone who wants to perform in front of a welcoming audience. No prerequisites, no selection: just sign up on site to take part, whatever your style or level of experience. Bring your instrument, your voice, or your texts—artistic diversity is warmly encouraged.
Jam Session as the second part of the evening
And the creativity doesn’t stop there! After the Open Mic, the stage remains open for a jam session where professional and amateur musicians meet, improvise, and create together. It’s the ideal moment to connect, experiment with new sounds, and maybe start new musical projects.
Practical info:
- When: Every Monday from 8 p.m.
- Where: La Tricoterie, Rue Théodore Verhaegen 158, 1060 Brussels
