Brussels’ underground is once again queering the space-time continuum: on Saturday 24 January 2026, CAVE invites LGBTQIA+ party animals and their friends to step into Time Machine #5 (Classics & Revival), an all‑night tribute to the tracks that shaped generations of sweaty, euphoric dance floors.
A Queer Night Out, Timeless Edition
From 23:00 to 07:00, CAVE turns nostalgia into fuel for the future, celebrating the emotional, communal power of classic electronic music. Every track is meant to hit like a shared memory, echoing the nights when chosen family, not the clock, decided when the party was over. CAVE is known as an underground party in Brussels for electronic music lovers, LGBTQIA+ folks and their friends, with a clear ethos: everyone is welcome as long as they come to dance, respect each other and enjoy the ride.
The venue once again promises “the very best classics” all night long, offering a soundtrack that bridges old‑school ravers, seasoned club queens and newer generations discovering these anthems for the first time. It is a space where flirting, sweating, voguing, zoning out by the speakers and singing along to that one legendary break all coexist in one crowded, joyful basement.

The Line-Up: Three Pilots For One Time Machine
Behind the decks, three experienced DJs will guide this nocturnal journey through house, trance and club memories:
- DJ JAN (Illusion, Carat) – A familiar name from Belgian club history, bringing the spirit of iconic venues like Illusion and Carat back to life with big-room energy and hands‑in‑the‑air classics.
Listen: https://soundcloud.com/user-55513907 - DJ BENNY (Balmoral, Kokorico) – Straight from the heyday of Balmoral and Kokorico, Benny channels sleepless nights, rolling basslines and unapologetically queer dance‑floor drama.
Listen: https://soundcloud.com/dj_benny - THOMAS M (CAVE, GreenKomm) – Resident for CAVE and regular at Cologne’s famous GreenKomm, Thomas M ties it all together with a journey that is equal parts emotional, driving and sensual.

Together, they promise a night that refuses to be reduced to “retro”; instead, they treat classics as living, breathing queer heritage that still belongs on today’s soundsystems.

Dancing Through Time, Thinking About The Future
CAVE’s Time Machine concept is built on memory: of first kisses on the dance floor, of friendships forged at 5 a.m., of tracks that carried queer people through rough years and wild summers. But this edition also looks beyond the club’s walls, with a gentle reminder that time moves differently for those in the later stages of life.
The party text invites everyone to think of older people, who can become more vulnerable and isolated as they age, and encourages clubbers to “reach out to older people”. For a community that often builds chosen families across generations, that call rings particularly true: intergenerational solidarity is as vital as the next banger dropping at peak time.
If you want to push that spirit beyond the dance floor, the organisers highlight three organisations working with and for older people around the world and in Belgium:
- HelpAge International – A global network defending the rights, dignity and inclusion of older people, including in humanitarian crises: https://www.helpage.org/
- Agewell Foundation – An Indian‑based initiative that promotes the wellbeing of older adults, focusing on respect, support and social inclusion: https://www.agewellfoundation.org/
- Bras Dessus Bras Dessous – A Belgian association working against isolation among older people, building local, supportive networks in communities: https://www.brasdessusbrasdessous.be/
For a queer night that refuses to forget where it comes from—or who came before—Time Machine #5 offers the perfect mix: sweat, sound, nostalgia and a nod to solidarity that outlives even the longest afterparty.
