On 30 April 2026, Beursschouwburg in Brussels will host Dykes to the Front, a free community night for lesbians, trans, bi, pan and questioning dykes*, as well as anyone challenging gender binaries. The event is organised by Dyke* March BXL as a warm-up to the second Brussels Dyke March, set for 15 May 2026.
A night built for community
The event is described as a space to gather, connect and celebrate dyke communities through performance and music. Organisers say the evening is meant to give back to the people who hold their communities together, while also creating space for friendship, solidarity and protest culture.

Performances and DJ sets
The programme at Beursschouwburg includes performances by Marlla Araújo, Izo Pinay and Gustavo Vieira, followed by DJ sets from IMAN and Melissa Juice, with a further set marked TBC. The night starts at 9pm on the rooftop and runs until 3am, making it both a political gathering and a party.
A lead-up to Dyke March
Dykes to the Front comes just weeks before the second Brussels Dyke March, which organisers say will return to the streets on 15 May 2026. The first march took place in 2025, and the new edition is framed as both a protest and a celebration of lesbian, queer and gender-diverse visibility.
