In June 2026, Brussels will host Various Voices, the big European festival of LGBTQI+ choirs, bringing around 4,000 queer singers to the city. Local choir Sing Out Brussels! is looking for volunteers to help make this huge community moment happen – on stage, backstage and across the city.
Whether you’re available for a few hours or several days, there are many ways to get involved: welcoming choirs, supporting the info desks, helping with logistics in venues, guiding visitors through the city, or assisting with social media and communication. No need to be a singer yourself – just be queer‑friendly, reliable and ready to contribute to a joyful, diverse event.
Volunteering for Various Voices is a chance to meet people from all over Europe, discover the behind‑the‑scenes of a major queer cultural festival and actively support LGBTQI+ visibility in Brussels. If you want to help give the city a proudly queer soundtrack in 2026, now is the time to raise your hand.

If you want to dive even deeper into the music, the festival’s flagship show “Let Your Heart Be Heard” will bring together choirs and queer artists for a massive anthem night at ING Arena, built around the festival’s original song of the same name. Ahead of June, a participatory project invites Brussels residents to learn the anthem and join rehearsals at Bozar, with the goal of forming the biggest choir the city has ever seen. You can host singers, sing with them, or both – there is no rule that says your guest has to be the only one performing.
