The Pink Screens Festival returns from October 31 to November 9 with the inspiring theme “Aging Queer.” In its 23rd edition, this flagship queer film festival in Brussels explores how LGBTQIA+ communities experience the passing of time, from love and family to identity across decades. This year, it celebrates intergenerational ties, queer heritage, and the vibrant cultural mosaic of queer lives, where each story illuminates the beauty and complexity of aging within a diverse community.

The program promises a standout lineup, with over 100 films shown across iconic Brussels cinemas. The festival opens with Lesvia, which delves into the fascinating history of lesbians on the island of Lesbos—an emblematic place of queer identity and tension. This Belgian premiere will feature the director herself, adding a unique dimension to the evening.

Short films, spread across 11 sessions, celebrate the diversity of queer relationships, from fleeting connections to lasting bonds. Beyond the films, an immersive exhibition at Nova and Cinema Galeries, electrifying parties, and lively discussions await. Whether you’re a film lover or just curious, join us to celebrate, discover, and revel with the community. More than just a festival, Pink Screens is a bold, inclusive, and unapologetic celebration.
