Brussels underground favourite CAVE returns with Superbal on Saturday 18 April 2026, turning the night into a full-body celebration of movement, community and electronic music. The party runs from 11 pm to 7 am at Place de la Chapelle 6, and is framed as a dance-heavy gathering for the LGBTQIA+ sports community and its allies.
According to the event description, the idea is to “work it out, play balls and do some dancing cardio all night long,” which gives the party a knowingly playful tone that fits CAVE’s broader identity: a queer-friendly underground concept where everyone is welcome as long as they come to dance and respect the space.
A party for the queer sports crowd
Superbal is built around a simple but appealing idea: celebrating sport as much as nightlife. That gives the event a distinct place in Brussels’ queer calendar, especially for people who move between club culture, team culture and community spaces without seeing those worlds as separate.
The organisers also add a practical gesture by offering a free soft drink or beer to students showing a valid student card, while noting that the bar is cash only. Pre-sales are handled exclusively through Billetweb, with door prices also listed for late arrivals.
Music and atmosphere
CAVE describes itself as a Brussels party concept for electronic music lovers, LGBTQIA+ people and friends, with a focus on non-mainstream sounds and local as well as international DJs. Its events usually mix techno, progressive house and trance, creating the sort of long-set energy that works especially well for all-night dancing.
Superbal continues that approach, using the club night as a place where queer visibility is expressed through movement rather than slogans. The event’s language is athletic, sensual and communal, which makes it feel especially aligned with a generation of queer partygoers who want both release and belonging.
