After Valenciaga‘s elimination last week, the queens are back in the werkroom and they can read Valenciaga’s goodbye message in the mirror. Everyone congratulates Mademoiselle Boop for winning the challenge and Peach for surviving the fits lipsync.
It’s a new day in the werkroom, and the mini-challenge is announced. Therefore, ten members of the Frites Crew are introduced. The queens have to guess and pair RTBF celebrities that are pinned to the asses of the guys. Peach is the one who manages to find the most pairs.
The maxi-challenge is announced and it is the make-over challenge: This is why the RTBF celebrities enter the werkroom. Peach has the power to pair the queens and their celebrity. Peach chooses Olivier Fraipont, Athena is paired with Lara Bellerose, Boop with Tamara Payne, Couenne with Stéphane Piedboeuf, and Susan with David Wathelet. The contestants must create a look and a performance on the runway that will make the pairs look like mothers and daughters.
The queens get to know their RTBFlebrities. Peach gives Olivier a lesson on tucking techniques which frightens him a little bit. Lara and Athena bound on their Egean roots. Couenne tries to ask Stéphane to cut his beard.
Rita Baga and Lufy pay a visit to the duos to discuss their concept. Boop’s idea of using a puppet is not convincing them and she considers changing plans. Lufy tries to make Susan paint her face in an older more traditional way but she’s not taking it very well. Athena wants to recreate a moment where she, as a little boy, was caught dressing up by her mother.
Couenne and Peach finally manage to convince Stéphane and Olivier to shave. The celebrities are very impressed and surprised to discover all the make-up process.
We move to the main stage and get together with the judges. Lufy, Mustii, and the guest judges: Sandra Kim and David Jeanmotte.
On the runway: Athena Sorgelikis and Artémis’ story about her childhood is very touching and the duo manages to impersonate that moving moment where the mother embraces the child’s dressing up and they share the experience. Drag Couenne and Jacky Van Piperzeel are incredible as creepy but cute clowns. Mademoiselle and Carrie Boop just stole jewelry from a store. Susan and Mireille impersonate Sunset Boulevard’s characters. Peach and Melo Pili pay an hommage to Liège’s folklore by dressing up as Tchantchès and Nanesse.
While the judges give their critiques, Lufy and David Jeanmotte are moved to tears by Athena’s performance. Back in the werkroom, celebrities explain how they loved to discover the world of drag. Couenne is also in tears because she feels she found a new family in the show.
Susan is safe, Athena is the winner of the episode and Couenne is second. Boop and Peach have to lipsync for their life on the song “J’aime la vie” by Sandra Kim. Boop wins the lipsync and gets to stay. Peach has to sashay away.
