Drag Race Belgique season 2 episode 7 review

Did you all have the chance to see this week’s episode yet? Drag Race Belgique is broadcasted every week on Thursday on Auvio and Sunday on Tipik.

This is our review of the episode so this article contains major spoilers. If you haven’t watched the episode yet, do that and come back later.

After La Veuve won for the second time and Chloe Clarke was eliminated, the queens are back in the werkroom. Loulou Velvet who won the lipsync washes away Chloe’s message on the mirror.

It’s a new day in the werkroom, and it’s the semi finale. No more mini-challenge, instead the queens get to open gigantic gifts. The packages contain real-life people, friends of relatives of the contestants. Loulou discovers her best friend Natoo. La Veuve is joined by her brother Julien. Gabanna discovers her friend Alan and Alvilda is happy to see her boyfriend Sébastien.

The maxi-challenge is announced and it is the makeover! The competitors must put their relatives in drag and transform them into their drag daughters.

Julien discovers his brother La Veuve in drag for the first time. He never tried drag but is really motivated to do the challenge. Natoo will also become a drag queen for the first time. She’s not confortable wearing high heels is excited because she’s impressed by Loulou’s art. Alvilda and Sébastien met for the first time at Drag Race France’s show. Sébastien was immediately impressed by Alvilda’s activist drag persona. It will not be his first time. He likes to go to Pride in drag. Alan knows drag well since he’s married with a drag queen friend of Gabanna but is not used to doing drag. He’s willing to do it all : tucking, corseting, and even participating in season three.

We move to the main stage and get together with the judges. Rita Baga, Lio, Mustii and the guest judge: the singer Loïc Nottet.

The runway theme is “Drag daughter!”. Let’s discover the drag daughters names. We are very impressed by Alvilda and Gurita’s pirate theme. Loulou and Nana Velvet are celestial creatures and we are very moved by the story of Natoo helping Loulou during a suicidal period. Gabanna and Dulce are in a gory Mickey Mouse outfit wich is outside of the box for what Gabanna is used to present. La Veuve et L’Orpheline are in a goth victorian sugar daddy theme and the runway presentation is hilarious.

Gabanna is safe. La Veuve is the winner for this episode.

Loulou and Alvilda have to lipsync for their life on “Monsieur Madame” by Loïc Nottet. They both win the lipsync and get to be in the finale.

Don’t miss the finale to know who’s going to snatch the crown and become the new Belgium’s drag superstar after Drag Couenne! And you? Are you Team Gabanna, Team Alvilda, Team La Veuve or Team Loulou Velvet?
